Let us guess…Every night at your house turns into a hostage negotiation.
It starts with: “Mommy… Mommy… Mommy…”
Then suddenly they’re thirsty, hungry, itchy, need to pee, need another hug, need their blanket fixed, need one more story, and absolutely must know what would happen if the sun exploded tomorrow.
And you’re thinking: “Buddy… it’s bedtime, not a TED Talk.”
But oh no—your child has stamina. Bedtime isn’t a routine… it’s the Olympics. There are delays, negotiations, emotional appeals, and last-minute plot twists.
And somehow… you’re losing. Every. Single. Night.
If bedtime in your house feels like a nightly battle, you’re not alone. Many families struggle with children who resist going to bed, repeatedly leave their rooms, ask endless questions, or rely on parents to fall asleep. What begins as a simple bedtime routine can quickly turn into a frustrating cycle of negotiations, exhaustion, and inconsistent boundaries.
That’s exactly why we created Bedtime Wars.
In this group, we’ll talk honestly about the real challenges families face at bedtime—and yes, we’ll laugh about it a little too (because sometimes laughter is the only way to survive bedtime).
You’ll learn practical strategies for setting clear bedtime boundaries, building predictable evening routines, and helping your child learn how to settle down and fall asleep more independently. We’ll discuss how to handle the classic bedtime stall tactics, how to stay calm and consistent when your child pushes back, and how to create a bedtime structure that actually works.
The goal isn’t to eliminate connection or warmth at bedtime. The goal is to create a routine that helps your child feel secure while also allowing the night to actually end.
Because at the end of the day, parents deserve evenings too.
And if you have to answer one more “what if” question at 10:30 PM, your answer might just become:
“What if… you went to sleep?” 😴
TARGET AUDIENCE
This class is designed for parents of children who struggle with bedtime routines and falling asleep independently. It is especially helpful for families where bedtime regularly turns into a long process filled with delays, negotiations, and repeated requests.
This group is a great fit for parents who:
Have a child who resists going to bed or repeatedly gets out of bed
Experience multiple bedtime requests (water, hugs, bathroom, one more story)
Feel like bedtime turns into a nightly negotiation or power struggle
Have a child who needs a parent present to fall asleep
Feel exhausted and frustrated by long or inconsistent bedtime routines
This will be a great group for parents who want to learn practical strategies for setting clear bedtime expectations, creating consistent evening routines, and helping their child develop the confidence and skills needed to fall asleep more independently—allowing bedtime to become calmer for everyone in the family. 😴
