At Midwest Anxiety, we believe mental health shouldn’t be confined to the traditional therapy office. That’s so 1980s. Instead of asking you to come to us, we meet you in the real world — in schools, workplaces, doctor’s offices, and community spaces. By integrating mental health services into everyday environments, we reduce barriers, normalize conversations, and create opportunities for real-time growth and support. Because mental health doesn’t just happen in a therapy office — it happens in the real world.

Our mission is to challenge the cold, clinical, and often negative view of traditional mental health care. We aim to make mental health normal, approachable, and even fun by bringing services into the real world — where people live, work, play, learn, and connect. By embedding our services in schools, workplaces, medical and dental offices, and community spaces, we make mental health accessible, practical, and part of everyday life.

We envision a world where mental health is seamlessly woven into daily life — where it’s found at school, at work, in the doctor’s office, at your favorite restaurant, on the playing field, and everywhere in our communities. Our goal is to redefine what mental health care looks like by integrating it into the fabric of everyday life — creating more holistic, coordinated, and effective support for individuals, families, and communities.

We provide Integrative Health Care, in collaboration with medical offices, offering comprehensive behavioral health services to their patients. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to supporting the whole health of children, adults, and families by integrating mental and behavioral care into the medical settings.

Together, we’re making it easier for patients to access high-quality, compassionate mental and emotional support— right where they already receive medical care. This partnership furthers our community-driven mission to take mental health care out of the therapy office and into the places where people live, work, play, go to school—and now, receive their medical care.

Benefits of Integrative Health Care Partnership:

  • More Efficient Collaboration Between Your Medical Team and Our Mental Health Team. Your medical team has direct access to our mental health team in and out of your office. Through a HIPPA-compliant mobile app, we’ve streamlined your medical teams ability to consult and discuss patients directly with our mental health team.

  • Streamlined Referrals. The setting up and scheduling your patients mental health sessions have been streamlined. Your patients do not have to go through all the hassle of calling multiple mental health providers to find a therapist that is right for them.

  • Scheduling Priority. Integrative Health Care Partner’s referrals have scheduling priority and we’ll schedule your patients ASAP. Your patients don’t have to wait on long waitlists to been seen for their mental health treatment.

  • Full Access to All Our Experienced Therapists. Integrative Health Care Partners have full access to all our experienced therapists. We have a very diverse therapy group who can cover all your patients mental health needs.

  • Full Service Mental Health Services. We provide psychotherapy for all mental health disorders and psychological/psychoeducational assessment of ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder in children, adolescents, and adults.

  • Promote and Referrals from our Mental Health Team. We value your partnership and want our clients to have the best care!!! We’ll promote and refer our client’s to your medical group for their medical needs.

  • No Cost. The partnership doesn’t cost your medical group anything.

Integrative Mental Health Dining brings mental health into restaurant spaces in a natural, stigma-free way, offering support that nourishes both body and mind. Restaurants have always been more than places to eat. They are hubs for connection, conversation, and community—where families gather, friends reconnect, milestones are celebrated, and hard days are softened. That makes them the perfect environment to introduce simple, meaningful practices that promote relaxation, mindfulness, and genuine human connection, without therapy rooms, labels, or pressure.

At our partner restaurants, every staff member and every guest matters—not for what they do or what they spend, but for who they are. Every person who walks through the door is human first, with a heartbeat, a story, and a life that deserves care, dignity, and connection. While a great meal can brighten a moment, many guests leave carrying the same challenges they arrived with—stress, anxiety, grief, burnout, or simply the weight of life. Integrative Dining is a Tier 3–informed approach that prioritizes the mental and emotional well-being of both restaurant guests and employees. We provide accessible, stigma-free mental health support designed to reduce burnout, strengthen workplace culture, and promote long-term emotional wellness. For staff, this means feeling supported, regulated, and valued in an industry that often asks people to give without pause. When staff feel supported, they show up differently—more present, more engaged, and more connected. When service improves, guests notice. When guests notice, they return. Tier 1: Curated Dining Experiences for Restaurant Guests

Integrative Dining experiences are designed to nourish both body and mind by bringing meaningful, approachable mental health conversations into welcoming restaurant spaces. We partner with restaurants to co-create curated dining experiences where food, connection, and conversation come together. Restaurants focus on what they do best—exceptional food and hospitality—while our team manages the experience design, flow, and facilitated mental health discussion. Guests register in advance through our website, and registration covers the cost of the meal, ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and the restaurant. Each experience is conversation-based, stigma-free, and centered on connection, reflection, and real-life mental health topics. The result is a dining experience that goes beyond the plate and creates moments of calm, connection, and community that guests remember long after the meal ends.

Tier 2: Universal Support for Restaurant Staff (Voluntary for All Staff)

Tier 2 focuses on prevention and culture by establishing a strong foundation of mental health awareness and everyday support that fits seamlessly into restaurant operations. This tier includes all Tier 1 offerings, plus monthly one-hour Fireside Chat mental health awareness trainings designed specifically for restaurant teams.

Staff gain access to practical, real-time stress tools they can use during busy shifts, along with guidance on respectful communication, emotional regulation, and psychological safety in the workplace. These supports are approachable, relevant, and easy to integrate into daily routines without disrupting service.

The result is a healthier workplace culture, improved morale, reduced stress, and stronger team connection—addressing challenges early and proactively, before they escalate into burnout, conflict, or turnover.

Tier 3: Targeted Support for Restaurant Staff (Voluntary for Identified Staff)

Tier 3 provides early intervention support for team members showing signs of stress, burnout, or emotional overload. This tier includes all Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports, plus weekly one-hour interactive group workshops designed specifically for the realities of restaurant life.

Workshops focus on practical, relatable topics such as:

·       Managing stress, anxiety, and depression

·       Sleep, recovery, and burnout prevention

·       Setting healthy boundaries at work and at home

·       Maintaining work–life balance in a high-demand industry

Sessions are conversation-based, easy to engage with, and immediately applicable during real-world shifts. The goal is to identify and address concerns early—before they impact performance, morale, or staff retention.

Tier 3 also provides confidential, employee-initiated access to licensed mental health professionals for higher-level support. Employees clearly understand where to turn, how to access support, and that seeking help will never jeopardize their employment. Team members may independently engage in individual therapy services as needed, with therapy fees being the responsibility of the employee.

The restaurant is not involved in clinical care, treatment decisions, or access to protected health information.

The outcome is a workforce that feels safe seeking support, experiences reduced burnout and turnover, and remains loyal to a workplace that prioritizes dignity, care, and genuine human connection.
