At Midwest Anxiety, we’re reimagining mental health — and it begins with our Partners.

Our Partners are Kansas-licensed mental health professionals who value flexibility, autonomy, and a collaborative private practice environment. They are independent contractors who want the freedom to design their schedules, choose the services they provide, and grow their professional identity — without feeling boxed in or micromanaged.

Midwest Anxiety is growing, and we are actively inviting motivated clinicians to join our team of Independent Contractors. This year, we are expanding to fill 12 roles across our programs — continuing to meet the needs of children, teens, and families across our community.

At MWA, you maintain control over your clinical approach and professional direction while benefiting from marketing support, referral streams, administrative infrastructure, and a collaborative network of professionals.

We value diverse therapeutic models, creative thinkers, and clinicians who are passionate about expanding access to quality mental health services across Kansas. Whether your focus is individual therapy, assessments, sports performance, school refusal, or integrated pediatric care, there is space for you here.

If you are entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and excited about building something meaningful — while still having community and connection — Midwest Anxiety may be the right fit.

Why Become a Partner of Midwest Anxiety?

  • Becoming a Partner at Midwest Anxiety means stepping into a model designed to support both your professional growth and your personal freedom.

  • As an Independent Contractor, you’ll have access to “plug and play” opportunities that allow you to step in and build momentum without starting from scratch. Whether you want to grow a full caseload, offer specialized services, or scale gradually, the structure is in place to support you. You have options.

  • Work from home through telehealth or take advantage of in-person opportunities.

  • Create a schedule that aligns with your life — you choose your hours, clients, and availability.

  • Provide the services you are passionate about and trained in.

  • Grow and strengthen your professional brand while being connected to a respected mental health organization.

  • Collaborate with an energetic, forward-thinking team of clinicians.

  • Receive administrative and marketing support that allows you to focus on clinical care instead of paperwork and promotion.

At Midwest Anxiety, you are not giving up independence — you are gaining infrastructure.

You maintain full autonomy over your clinical style, your niche, and your professional direction. At the same time, you benefit from referral streams, brand recognition, operational systems, and a community of professionals who share the same mission: Doing Mental Health Differently.

It’s the freedom of private practice — without the isolation.

What We Ask of You

  • You want to help people get the most out of life. You believe individuals are not defined by their struggles.

  • You understand that everyone struggles. Some struggle more visibly than others, but mental health is universal.

  • You focus on strengths. You believe people have more strengths than struggles and that those strengths can be leveraged to create meaningful growth.

  • You encourage individuality and authenticity — helping people “Just Be You.”

  • You are passionate about changing how we talk about mental health. You believe in normalizing mental wellness rather than stigmatizing mental illness. You understand that mental health is something we all have — just like physical health.
