Mental Health for Real Life. Help Between Your Therapy Sessions.

Real Life doesn't wait for your next therapy appointment. And we don't think you should have to wait to get help, either!

At Midwest Anxiety, we believe mental health care should extend beyond scheduled therapy sessions. That's why we created the MWA Virtual Help Clinic, a convenient, drop-in service designed to provide established MWA clients with practical mental health support when challenges arise between regularly scheduled therapy appointments.

Whether you're a child struggling with anxiety, a teenager navigating a difficult situation, or a parent needing guidance with challenging behaviors, the Help Clinic is here to help you manage what's happening RIGHT NOW.

Rather than waiting until your next therapy appointment, you can connect virtually with an MWA therapist for brief, individualized support, problem-solving, and guidance. Our therapists help you identify practical strategies, work through immediate challenges, and determine next steps to help you move forward until your next regularly scheduled therapy session.

No appointment necessary! Simply access the Help Clinic during operating hours, enter the virtual waiting room, and wait for an available therapist to connect with you individually. Clients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Each interaction varies in length depending on your needs and the therapist's clinical judgment.

What Can the Help Clinic Help With?

The Help Clinic focuses on practical, real-life challenges, including managing anxiety and emotional distress, navigating difficult parenting situations, addressing challenging behaviors, practicing coping strategies, improving emotional regulation, and problem-solving situations that arise between therapy appointments.

The goal isn't to replace your regularly scheduled therapy sessions. It's to help you use what you're learning in therapy when Real Life happens.

Important Information

The Help Clinic provides brief, focused mental health support and is not a substitute for ongoing individual therapy, a crisis intervention service, or emergency mental health care. Participation is limited to established MWA clients. Availability is first come, first served.

For an immediate emergency, call 911. For mental health crisis support, call or text 988.

We're Here for You. Not Just During Therapy.

At Midwest Anxiety, our mission is to take therapy out of the therapy office and deliver meaningful mental health care where people live, learn, work, and play.

The MWA Help Clinic is another way we're making that mission a reality. Because sometimes you don't need another full therapy session. You just need a little help figuring out what to do next.

We're here to help. During your therapy sessions. Between your therapy sessions. When Real Life happens.
