Tina Richardson, LPC
Master’s Level Therapist | Independent Contractor (Office, Virtual)

Tina Richardson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Kansas with over eight years of experience providing compassionate, individualized mental health care. She is also a certified school counselor in both Kansas and Missouri, bringing ten years of experience collaborating with students and families to support academic success, emotional well-being, and personal growth.

Tina has a particular passion for working with adolescents who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the challenges of growing up. Her extensive experience in school settings provides her with a unique understanding of the social, emotional, and academic pressures young people face, as well as the importance of partnering with families to create meaningful, lasting change.

Tina earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Missouri State University and her Master of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, Tina helps clients better understand the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She focuses on developing practical coping strategies, building resilience, and empowering clients to approach life's challenges with greater confidence and flexibility.

Grounded in empathy, Tina creates a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. She values culturally responsive care that honors each individual's background, experiences, identity, and strengths.

Tina believes meaningful progress happens when clients feel empowered to take an active role in their growth. Through collaboration with clients and families, she works to foster emotional well-being, support healing, and help individuals build the skills needed to navigate real-life challenges.
