Kristina Knight, LSCSW
Clinical-Level Therapist | Independent Contractor (Office, Community & Virtual)

Kristina Knight is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) with more than a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges.

Her clinical background includes individual and family counseling, mental health, crisis intervention, homelessness, child and family welfare, suicide prevention, LGBTQIA+ identities, trauma-informed care, school social work, and community mental health. For the past six years, Kristina has worked as a high school social worker in an alternative school setting, where she has developed specialized skills in supporting students experiencing behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, school avoidance, trauma, and other complex social-emotional needs.

Kristina believes meaningful growth and healing begin when people feel seen, heard, validated, and empowered. She brings an authentic, genuine presence to each therapeutic relationship, fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions, navigating challenges, and recognizing their strengths. She understands that every individual and family has unique experiences, needs, and perspectives and believes therapy should be tailored to honor those differences.

Kristina approaches therapy with compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to meeting clients where they are. She values collaboration and works alongside individuals and families to build on existing strengths, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. Her goal is to help clients feel understood and supported as they work toward greater emotional well-being, resilience, and a more fulfilling life.

Kristina utilizes a strengths-based, client-centered approach and integrates evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based skills. She strives to tailor her approach to each client’s individual needs, goals, and experiences.
