Joseph Wilner, LCP, BCC, ADHD-CCSP
Clinical Level Therapist | Independent Contractor (In Person Office, Virtual)
Joseph Wilner is a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist, Board Certified Coach, ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, and Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner who also holds a graduate certificate as a Youth Development Specialist. With more than a decade of experience, he works with adolescents, adults, and families navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, trauma, life transitions, career concerns, self-esteem, and relationship challenges.
Joseph’s approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and practical. He believes therapy should help people better understand themselves, develop useful skills, and make meaningful changes in how they approach their lives. His work draws from evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based therapies, solution-focused therapy, and positive psychology.
Central to Joseph’s work is the belief that people are more than the problems or diagnoses that bring them to therapy—and that meaningful change remains possible throughout our lives. Our brains are continually shaped by what we practice, experience, and pay attention to. Therapy can harness this capacity for change by helping people develop new ways of thinking, responding, and relating to themselves and others. Joseph helps clients build on their strengths, develop greater self-awareness and self-compassion, and practice new patterns that support resilience, confidence, and a life more closely aligned with what matters most to them
