Character is the unique mental and moral framework that guides how a person thinks, makes decisions, treats others, and responds to everyday challenges. In many ways, character is a person’s internal operating system.

Developing strong character is essential for achieving positive life outcomes, building healthy relationships, serving others, and experiencing greater happiness and well-being. Character development begins with learning to care for and respect both yourself and the people around you.

Character 7 helps young people identify, develop, and practice the character strengths needed to become confident, responsible, and emotionally mature individuals. Participants will explore important questions such as:

“Who am I?”

“Who do I want to become?”

“What values will guide my choices?”

Character 7 focuses on seven core character strengths that support optimal well-being and help young people make healthier decisions, overcome challenges, build stronger relationships, and minimize harmful outcomes for themselves and others.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Boys and girls ages 11–18 who want to strengthen their character, improve their decision-making, build healthier relationships, and become the best version of themselves.
