Through the teenage years, the struggle can be real! The internal and external stressors such as family issues, school performance including homework and exams, social acceptance and rejection, extra-curricular activities, and physical changes in the body can become overwhelming. These teenage stressors can create a bunch of negative emotions including depression and anxiety. When these negative emotions become excessive, it can have a negative impact in a teenager’s life in such areas as academics, social, employment, and athletics. Teenanxious will help teens become more aware of the basics of anxiety, while also learning Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) techniques to use when life becomes stressful.
Teens ages 11 to 18 years who are struggling with anxiety at home, school, friends, or any other area of teenage life.
This class is held Live Online. You will join the class from the convenience of your computer. When you join the class online, you will see the presenter and the presenter's screen. You will not be seen or heard, but will be able to engage in conversation and ask questions through the class chat platform. So....put your comfortable clothes on, sit back, and enjoy.
